Batchelor & Kimball is a mechanical contracting firm incorporated in July, 1979, with primary offices located at 6700 Tribble Street, Lithonia, Georgia 30058. Our company provides commercial HVAC, plumbing and fire protection services for all types of facilities, institutional work including medical gas systems, and industrial process work. We have registered engineers on our office staff and our field labor force includes pipefitters, certified welders, plumbers, and sprinkler fitters. We offer design/build and turnkey construction capabilities including selected subcontractors for electrical and general construction depending on the scope of work. Our project experience includes research and development facilities, industrial process work, office buildings, all phases of hospital construction and renovation, data processing facilities and central energy plants.

Our field of expertise has developed under the strict requirements of these work environments and our quality of work, attention to detail, and overall performance is a direct result of our specialization in these areas. The capability to assist with engineering decisions and their cost impact has allowed for development of realistic budgets and excellent mechanical systems. Our company has approximately one hundred fifty (150) employees including thirteen (13) project managers, three (3) registered engineers, twenty-two (22) field foremen, and one hundred (100) field personnel. The number of field personnel varies depending on the project requirements.

Design/development documents are prepared to assist with budgets and are used to produce shop drawings for fabrication and installation. The majority of our piping, plumbing and fire protection systems are prefabricated in our shop and delivered to the field for installation.
